Nourish Your Smile&.

With a Well Balanced Diet

Eating a healthy diet not only reduces medical related risks, it is also beneficial to your periodontal health.

· Diets low in essential nutrients weakens the immune system and increase risk of infection.

· Calcium builds bone density in the alveolar bone that supports teeth.

· Periodontitis is a bacterial infection that destroys the tissues and bone that support the teeth.

· Men and women who have insufficient calcium are nearly twice as likely to have periodontal disease.

· Vitamin C plays a role in maintaining and repearing healthy connective tissue.

· Patients who cosume insufficient vitamin C risk developing severe gingivitis and red, swollen, bleeding gums.

Adequate nutrition and regular dental care are important steps on the road to periodontal health.

Do I Have Cracked Teeth?

A dentist can help&

w How would I know?

- Teeth hurt upon biting and pain disappears right away

- Cold or hot sensitivity (sharp and immediate pain)

w How does it happen?

- Years of biting down on hard objects

- Teeth clenching and grinding

- Accident that affects the mouth

- Stress on teeth with large fillings

w How are cracked teeth treated?

- Tiny cracks that affect only the outer tooth enamel, cause no discomfort and require no treatment can be hidden by cosmetic veneers.

- Deeply cracked teeth may require crowns to reinforce the tooth's structure, or root canal treatment if dental pulp is affected.

Put Your BEST Smile Forward

Let dentistry help you create an impression that will last a lifetime!

Your smile is the very first thing people notice. Cosmetic dentistry can help to make your first impression is the right one. Just eating and drinking alone can cause tooth staining. Coffee, tea, red wine, berries and ciggarettes are nutorious for staining. These stains are extrinsic and therefore only effect the enamel surface of the tooth which are easily remedied by teeth whitening.

Teeth whitening can be done reliably and conveniently in a number of ways. Our office offers the following:

v Zoom In-Office Whitening

v At-Home Whitening

v Cosmetic Veneers

Veneers are paper-thin, ultra strong translucent shells that are applied to the surface of one or more teeth to both whiten and reshape your smile. They can be used to close gaps, correct chips or to smooth out a crowded looking smile.

What is dental insurance & how does it work?

cd

Dental insurance is a highly complex set of benefits and rules that creates frustration and confusion for many dental patients. The complexities of dental insurance and lack of sufficient information provided by some insurance companies makes it almost impossible for some patients to properly understand their benefits. Even more confusing can be understanding how to properly work with your dental insurance company to achieve the highest level of benefits to which you are entitled.

Dental insurance is a contract between you or your employer and a dental insurance company. The benefits received are based on the terms of the contract that were negotiated and not your dental office. Unfortunately, some of the services you may need or want will not be covered by your dental insurance. Our goal is to help you achieve and maintain optimal dental care. We do not want to compromise the quality of your care based on restraints placed by and insurance company. Other financial options, such as CareCredit, are available with little or no interest. CareCredit can be used anywhere that accepts it, including use for medical and veterinary services.

Our office will do everything possible to help you understand and make the most of your dental benefits. We realize that dental insurance is complex and can be very frustrating. Our office will complete and submit dental insurance forms to the company to achieve the maximum reimbursement. Please be aware all patients are responsible any amount not covered by insurance.
